Happy New Year!

Lately a bunch of stressed-out colleagues have been asking how to make better business plans or do a better job of achieving their goals or find the motivation to get the important stuff done, so much so that now I need a little nap.

I get the sense that 2013 didn’t go as smoothly as some people might have hoped, and by that I mean things went wrong.

So I’m going to christen 2014 The Year of Stop Thinking You Will Ever Not Have Problems.

Problems are the stuff of life. Solving problems (or sometimes just surviving them), that’s the adventure of life. That’s not the thing to be avoided, or regretted, or bitched about.  The problems that snag you are opportunities to be creative and smart and flexible and innovative and wise.

Actually sounds kind of fun, doesn’t it? Here’s to as many problems as you can get in 2014!
