On manifestos, redux

So a friend of mine read On Manifestos and wondered if I really think my audience reads Nietzsche and smokes Gauloises and cares about the ravings of a long-dead Dadaist, to which my only possible response is, I believe, “Bite me.” Or possibly, “At least they don’t read Ayn Rand like your audience, neener-neener.”

Anyway, she pointed out that I needed a quotable manifesto so that people would, you know, quote it, so I came up with this:

Love’s bitch since 2008.

2008 being the year my first romance was published. Great manifesto, yes? If you’ve got one of your own, I’d love to hear it.
